Guy Clark has gone to be with his beloved Susanna

At 74 years of age, Guy Clark has passed into the great beyond. He lost his wife Susanna in 2012, and continued to tour until his health faded, but he is finally back with the love of his life. This photo is the cover of his 2013 release My Favorite Picture of You, and it is as masterful a piece of work as any he ever did in his long and fruitful career. Guy leaves behind a legacy of amazing songs and stories, and will be greatly missed...

"Guy died after a long illness at 3:41 this morning. His caregiver Joy and Verlon Thompson were at his side. Guy was wearing a pink Shawn Camp T-shirt, it was his favorite shirt and it made me smile to think of him wearing it at the end. Guy has been suffering so much these last months and I'm grateful that he is no longer in pain. I will love him forever and I know he loved me. What more can we ask for?
