River Road Ice House of Blues

So every once in a while a cool Wednesday night full band series will pop up. Chris King and the Liberators at The Phoenix Saloon and Tom Gillam's Kosmic Messengers at Gruene Hall come to mind... Well, Seth James recently departed from the awesome full band gig he had over the last 3 years and the first big public appearance (after Roots and Branches of Americana w/Ray Wylie Hubbard on KNBT 92.1fm sponsored by Spam and Rolos). He's doing 3 out of 4 Wednesdays at River Road Ice House. It's a HUGE full band blues show with his long-time friend and blues legend Bobby Mack. Rick Richards who was Ray Wylie Hubbard's drummer for quite some time before touring with Joe Walsh of The Eagles last year is joining the band on drums, and Jimmy Hartman formerly of the Jeff Strahan Band is on bass.
